Ananda CN (They/She)

Ananda CN (She/they)

Ananda is a Mental Health Worker and a fellow at Pause for Perspective. She is trained in narrative practices which allows for people to be seen as affected by the systems that surround and govern them and not as isolated individuals with problems to solve or be fixed.

Ananda’s approach is person-centered, shaped by narrative practices. In therapy, Ananda hopes to make people feel seen and heard with gentle curiosity and empathy, by creating space for lived experiences, accountability, reflection, exploration, and collaborative meaning-making.

As a former corporate IT worker holding multiple marginalised identities, Ananda’s personal experiences inform their advocacy for mental health awareness and improving access to mental healthcare especially for people on the margins of caste, religion, class, sexuality, gender, disability, neurodivergence and social relations.

When they are not at work, Ananda spends time with their cat entourage, reviving plants in their balcony garden, attempting diy repairs, reading or trying to read theory, taking in nature and pocketing small rocks.

Languages they speak: English, Telugu, Hindi
